You are cordially invited to join the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Connecticut Chapter for a 6.5-hour CEC program for social workers, counselors, psychologists and other mental health professionals on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown, Conn. Registration for this program is $100 and includes CECs, participant materials, a course booklet, breakfast and lunch. This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers, Connecticut Chapter, for 6.5 Continuing Education Credit Hours and meets the continuing education criteria for CT Social Work Licensure. The registration deadline has been extended to Wednesday, Sept. 21.

The Program for the day includes:
8:30 - 9:00 am - Continental Breakfast

Morning NJATA membership meeting, where we will be holding elections for our new slate of board members for 2012-2014
10:00 -10:10 am - Break
10:10 -11:45 am - Morning panel discussion with experts on working with children on the Autism/Aspergers
spectrum from
12:00 - 1:00 pm - Lunch (provided)
1:00 - 2:00 pm - Afternoon breakout sessions on various topics involving working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum.
2:00 - 2:30 pm - Evaluations, CEC form distribution, Wrap-Up
2.5 CEC’s are approved from AATA, approval # 11-06.
Parking will be provided.
